The shackles that curb our creativity

Our take: The author takes a deliberately provocative view to snap us out of the inertia of conformism and exhort us to more constructive creativity. Our collectivism needs to be our strength rather than a barrier to better creativity. Comfort-seeking and family expectations can mean that we don’t express ourselves or our unique thoughts. With access to better technology and all the information we need at our fingertips, we can be happily experimentative. The world and others need to be laughed at once in a while, and the heart needs must be followed. How many of us ignore this inner call because we are told it is the siren call of doom? That way, we will only have ourselves to blame if things turn out not so well. At least, it would have been a great ride 🙂
